Theatre / Acting Classes

Our rich theatre program offers learning in a 2 semester format.  The first semester is dedicated to theatrical technique through such things as improv, mime, scene study and working together as a team and as an individual actor.  The second semester involves working on the year end Showcase.

Actors learn things such as stage theory, script study, and are guided to express themselves through controlled emotion while embodying a character.  Actors also work on several projects throughout a season and will be required to create a performance resume and portfolio.

 

Mock auditions are hosted for each student. This gives them the needed experience to attend out of house actual auditions.  We encourage all of our actors to take part in other productions as acting gives students the gift of great confidence and team building skills.
